Joan Jones
Chief of Operations
As chief of operations, Joan oversees the daily business for the Clerk of Court’s office. Her duties include the supervision of personnel and overseeing the workflow of civil, criminal, recording, and mortgage and conveyance departments.
Joan began her career with the Livingston Parish Clerk of Court’s office in 2007 as a minute clerk for criminal, domestic, and civil court. She was promoted to supervisor in 2011 and then to chief of operations in 2014. After fulfilling all educational and experience requirements for the Louisiana State Certification program, she became a Certified Deputy Clerk. She is a member of the Louisiana Clerks of Court Association.
