E-Filing

The Livingston Parish Clerk of Court accepts electronic filings in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statutes (LRS) Title 13:754(B), the Code of Civil Procedure (CCP) Article 253, the Code of Criminal Procedure (CCrP) Article 14.1, and the following Rules and Procedures established by the Louisiana Clerks of Court and Louisiana Clerks Remote Access Authority (LCRAA) adopted May 12, 2025.

INSTRUCTIONS TO E-FILE
E-Filing is processed through i3-Software & Services.

The web address to e-File is https://eclerksla.com/

  • For Civil e-Filings, download the instructions here.
  • For Criminal e-Filings, download instructions here.

ATTENTION:

  • Beginning January 1, 2026, per Louisiana Code of Civil Procedure CCP 253 (B)(2) all filings as provided in Paragraph A of CCP 253 filed by an attorney shall only be filed in person in paper form or e-filed to us following the above rules and procedures. Our office will no longer be able to accept civil filings from attorneys via facsimile, US mail, or any commercial carrier such as FedEx and UPS. Please refer to Louisiana CCP 253 (B) (3) (a) – (d) for exceptions.
  • Beginning January 1, 2026, as provided in Louisiana Code of Criminal Procedure 14.1, all filings filed by an attorney shall only be filed in person in paper form or e-filed to us following the above rules and procedures. Our office will no longer be able to accept criminal/traffic filings from attorneys via facsimile, US mail or any commercial carrier such as FedEx and UPS.
