Next Election is July 19, 2008.

Louisiana law provides for early voting in person and by mail; and special provisions are in place for persons in the military. The early voting process for the upcoming July 19th election begins on Saturday, July 5 and will close on Saturday, July 12. Persons who wish to cast an early ballot in person may do so at their local Registrar of Voters office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Voters who are physically unable to vote in person at the polls on election day and unable to vote in person at the registrar's office may be eligible for the Special Program for Physically Handicapped Voters.
