| Effective July 1, 2004, the Livingston Parish Clerk of Court's Office has made a decision to not charge a Clerk's fee for adoptions. We are, however, mandated by state law to charge $2.86 per civil suit which goes to Southeast Legal Services, and $21.50 per civil suit which goes to the Judicial Administrator. Based upon this, the current charge for an adoption is $24.36. All additional typical filing fees in these cases have been waived. |
